A native of Sheboygan, Kris graduated with a dual degree in English and Communications from Carroll College.  After 14 years of living in Boston and working in higher education administration, she and her family returned to Wisconsin in 2000.  She works part-time as a library paraprofessional, where she can keep an eye on her three kids.
